We have a creative, skills based approach to our curriculum at Rossett Acre, which is tailored to each child’s individual needs. Our teachers are talented individuals who provide exciting opportunities for our pupils, to enthuse them and spark their imaginations, encouraging them to research areas of interest.
Children are encouraged to share their findings with others to clarify and extend their thoughts.
The Rossett Acre Primary School Curriculum includes full coverage of the statutory elements of the National Curriculum 2014, and has been in place since September 2014.
We have welcomed the freedom that the reduced content of the new statutory curriculum has given us to create our own unique Rossett Acre Curriculum. We are currently developing additions to the curriculum so that it is tailored even more closely to the needs and interests of our whole school population and wider community, whilst retaining the flexibility to cater for individual needs.

Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic Education is an essential element of our whole-school curriculum. As a result, we have devised themes for this in response to our local needs, including elements of SEAL. All pupils in school follow the themes concurrently, at a level appropriate for their age and needs.
